Founder & Medical Director

Ramesh Peramsetty, MD is a board certified family practitioner. He finished his residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of various societies including: American College of Phlebology, American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP). He is the Founding Medical Director of Alabama Family Medical Center, Crimson Urgent Care, Tuscaloosa MedSpa and Tuscaloosa Medi-Weightloss. He has been living and practicing medicine in Tuscaloosa since 1998.

Dr. Peramsetty has vast training, experience and interest in current trends in Laser Medicine and Cosmetic Medicine. In addition to his certifications in various laser treatments including GentleMAX, GentleYAG, AlexTrivantage, and I2PL, he is also certified in BOTOX® Cosmetic, Mesotherapy, and dermal fillers including: Radiesse®, Restylane®, Juvéderm® and Sculptra™.

Hue Nguyen

Spa Office Manager/Consultant/Medical Esthetician/Laser Technician/Obagi and Cosmedix Certified

Hue is our spa office manager. She grew up in the salons as a little girl and has been in the beauty industry for over ten years. Her passion is to help others look great but most importantly, to FEEL great. As an expert on achieving beautiful and healthy skin, Hue will analyze your skin and create a treatment that is customized just for you. She conducts one-on-one treatment consultations, performs skin analysis, and determines/recommends services and products that are best fit for you. Not only has she been a licensed Master Nail Technician for over ten years, but Hue also specializes in skin care and is certified in Obagi Medical Skin Care and Cosmedix. She is certified in Laser Technology by Candela Corporation and she performs treatments in laser hair removal, skin tightening, spider vein therapy, tattoo removal, acne laser treatment and photo rejuvenation.

Spa Supervisor/Consultant/Medical Esthetician/Laser Technician/Obagi and Cosmedix Certified

Amber is our spa supervisor. She has always had a passion for skin care. She has a warm heart and a warm smile. Her personality and aura is enough to brighten up anyone’s day and make them feel good about themselves. She performs skin analysis and determines/recommends services and products. She is an expert in skin care and has an extensible knowledge on all of our lasers. Amber is certified by Candela Corporation in laser hair removal, skin tightening, spider vein therapy, tattoo removal, acne laser treatment and photo rejuvenation. She is also certified in Obagi Medical Skin Care and Cosmedix. Amber has had over 9 years of experience in working with our Cosmedix skin care line.
